Problem/Motivation
@attiks noticed that some confusing log entries were written upon initialization.
Proposed resolution
Either of the following could work:
1. Simply to not log the following two entries, so that the uninitiated users will not be confused about what is happening.
2. Clarify the log message, so that it would be more intuitive and understandable.
