1. created static page
2. added to management menu
3. errors began immediately after this when pages were saved
4. error did not seem to affect any of the pages that were saved
Details:
This is for a site that only authorized users can view.
I created a static page and when I saved it I did not save it to a menu. I then went and manually added it to the management menu. (I do not have the management menu in the list of available menus to add to for static pages)
Once the link was in the management menu, whenever I edited any page I received the following error:
Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in node_page_title() (line 2211 of /path/to/site/modules/node/node.module
I deleted the page and tried again, same result.
I removed the link from the Management menu and the error stopped.
I created a new menu which I added as a menu block to the management dashboard and I have not received the error again.

I am using the special menu items module, 7.x-2.0, for static items in some of my menus
I am using the menu block module, 7.x-2.3, for two layer deep menu's and separate sub menus on pages.
I have created menu's and manually added items to them and never had a problem until I attempted to add items to the management menu.
