I'm in a situation where my hook_boot implementation invokes a hook to allow other modules to change some behaviour. However, this hook invocation is not working because implementing modules are not loaded at bootstrap. Attached is a patch that allows additional bootstrap hooks to be defined by 3rd party modules.
