I have created a subtheme from the Bartik theme. I have basic pages created with each page that has a sidebar menu link. I have images in the header section and first sidebar section.
When I click on the menu link, the basic page is loaded and the images are loaded and displayed in the header section, sidebar section and the body section of the basic web page. All is working fine.
I have now created two additional basic pages that do NOT have a sidebar menu link. They are displayed through a link from one of the basic pages or from the feature section. When these pages are displayed, the header section images look like they are loading though end up not displaying and an X is shown. The images are also not displayed in the sidebar or in the body of the basic web page. I tested the flow by creating a test menu link for the page and low and behold the images displayed.
The issue of the images NOT loading happens when the basic page is called from another page or section that is NOT part of the menu bar link list. Only when the basic page is called directly from the menu bar link do the images display.
Do I have a rendering order problem? How do I get the images to be displayed when the basic page is not called from a menu menu item link?
Sorry if this is already answered. I looked through many issues and could not find something quite similar to this sequence of events that led me to a resolution.
