On a node edit form with a lot of fields, user needs to check a proximity obtained by opening another node via the admin menu shortcut bar. If the user forgets to "right click" the shortcut to open a new window the original node edit form opens in the same window and reverts to an empty state when returning to the node edit form. If the shortcut can be set to default to open in a new window, when the user returns to the node edit form, all the fields previously entered will not be lost. This is a small feature but would eliminate the user having to re-enter a lot of data.
